Bar Length: 3.5"
Bar Width: 4"
Max Temperature: 500ºF
Mold Capacity (oz): 22

Mold walls are built with extra thickness to prevent bowing. Once mold is used for making soap, it should not be used for food production.

To avoid damage to mold, do not use sharp metal tools to cut or remove contents. Never place near an open flame, use under a broiler, or on a cooktop burner.

Melt & Pour Soap: Support the mold with two flat objects such as two miter boxes on their sides. Slowly pour melted soap no hotter than 130ºF into the mold. Allow soap to harden then open mold and remove soap. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula then slice into bars.

Cold Process Soap: Support the mold with two flat objects such as two miter boxes on their sides. Slowly pour traced soap into the mold. After at least 24 hours, remove soap from the mold with gloved hands. If desired, trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Slice into bars and allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks.

Note that some CP soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.

Hot Process Soap: Scoop hot process soap into mold. Gently tap the mold onto the counter to remove air pockets. Allow soap to cool and harden. (This can take up to 48 hours.) Open mold and remove soap loaf. If desired, trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Slice into bars. Care: Hand wash mold in warm, sudsy water.
