Paraffin Candle Wax

Paraffin candle wax is versatile, easy to use, and has the best scent throw of all waxes in your candles! If you’re new to candle making and don’t know how to choose a wax, paraffin is a great place to start. Our paraffin waxes are the most widely used candle waxes that we sell.

Paraffin is white or colorless and comes as a semi-soft or solid wax, perfect for melting.

Another reason that we recommend paraffin wax for candle-making beginners is that it heats and cools quickly and there is no cure time. Your candles will be ready for burning within 24 hours. Paraffin is easy to reheat and repour, if necessary!

For most of our paraffin candle waxes, we recommend the following:

• Heating to 180 degrees
• Adding color and scent
• Pouring at 180-190 degrees

We recommend 1 ounce of fragrance per pound of candle wax (about 6%). Be sure to check the product descriptions for specific scent load instructions. We also include wick suggestions and primary uses for each wax.
