Our new Pistachio Macaron fragrance oil really got us inspired to make these cute wax macarons! Once we started, we couldn’t stop! They make great wax melts, votives, or candle toppers!

Instructions:
- 1. Gather all ingredients and equipment in a clean area.
- 2. Melt wax, add fragrance oil and coloring, and stir until mixed. Using the above amounts, you can vary fragrance oil and color to make different macarons!
- 3. Pour the wax into the mold at 160 °F for all waxes besides advanced soy (pour soy at 180 °F).
- 4. Let macarons cool (30 minutes to 1 hour) and pop out of the mold. Turn upside down to reveal the flat side.
- 5. Take your remaining wax off the heat and stir it up; it becomes slushy. Once slushy, carefully pour about a quarter size onto the macaron that is upside down.
- 6. Take the other half of the macarons and place them on top and carefully push them down, pressing them together.
- 7. Allow to cool, and they're ready to go!
- 8. Easily make it into a votive by drilling a hole slowly into the center of the macaron and inserting a pre-tabbed votive wick.
Differences in Waxes:
Single Pour Votive/Pillar Hybrid Blend Wax
- Our favorite for this project!
- Cooled the quickly
- Gave great color and texture
Production Pre-Blended Pillar Wax
- - Worked great!
- - Slightly longer to cool
- - Nice color
- - Great to use if making votives since higher melt point
Production Pre-Blended Votive Wax
- - Similar to pillar but has a lower melt point
- - Great for using for wax melts
Advanced Soy Votive/Pillar Blend
- - Took the longest to cool (1 hour)
- - Need to pour higher at 180 °F to have fewer “jump” lines
- - More muted color
- - A little more fragile; use caution when removing from the mold
