Valentine's Day is approaching quickly! Once Christmas is over in the making world it's time to swing right into Valentine's Day! We thought these cute heart shaped wax melts would be a perfect way to do just that! Wax Melts are an easy and cost efficient way to add new products to your candle or soap line and they keep growing in popularity year to year!

Ingredients:

• - Soy Pillar Blend Wax
• - Pink Liquid Candle Dye
• - Red Liquid Candle Dye
• - Valentine's Fragrance Oil

Equipment:

• - Wax Melter, Microwave or Double Boiler
• - Pouring Pitcher & Thermometer
• - Heart Shaped Molds
• - Mold Release Spray
• - Spoon or Stirring device
• - Scale
• - Sachet Bags

Instructions:

1. 1. Gather all your material and have a clean space to work.
2. 2. Decide how many wax melts you want to make and begin melting the appropriate amount of wax.
3. 3. Spray your molds with mold release spray. The mold generally are ok without the release spray but once they get more worn they do need it. It can also help prevent wax sticking in there if poured too hot.
4. 4. Pour wax into pouring pitcher, add fragrance and color. Fragrance can be up to 1.5 oz. per pound of wax. Start with 1 drop of color and add until you reach desired color, not going over 5 drops per pound of wax. (Light Pink = 1 drop Red, Neon Pink + 2 drops Pink, Red = 2 drops Red)
5. 5. Wait until wax is 160 °F or below then pour into molds slowly.

1. 6. Once the wax is cooled you can pop the wax melts out and package!
